DJO Incorporated Expands Support for Orthopedic Education and Research through OREF

Date

SAN DIEGO - DJO Incorporated, a global provider of medical device solutions for musculoskeletal health, vascular health and pain management, today announced it has signed an agreement with the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF) to support graduate medical education (GME) fellowships for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Under the agreement OREF will award fellowships in the area of sports medicine and foot and ankle for the upcoming academic year. Working together to cultivate highly skilled orthopedic surgeons is a natural extension of our partnership.”

“DJO has for many years demonstrated their commitment to excellence in orthopedic care,” said OREF Board Chair William P. Cooney III, M.D. “We value our association with DJO and applaud their increased support for advancing the science and practice of orthopedics.”
