Per DJO Policy, no DJO Surgical® employee may make any commitment, verbal or otherwise, to any third party (including HCPs) – whether that third party is providing products, services, or facilities – until Compliance has approved individual events and individual HCP engagements.
In accordance with the Physician Payments Sunshine Act, DJO must report to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) all “transfers of value” to all Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) attending this event, including transportation, lodging, and meals. Please note that in accordance with Vermont Law, Vermont-licensed physicians must reimburse DJO Surgical for the full cost of any meals and refreshments immediately after the event. Any physician with a Vermont license, even if that individual is not actively practicing in Vermont, must notify DJO of such licensure in advance of the event.
