Exos wrist, thumb and arm braces provide fracture bracing and splint support to patients with injuries requiring stabilization by molding it directly to the anatomy for a customizable fit. There is no cast saw required to remove the brace and the waterproof properties allow for easy skin and brace hygiene, as well as involvement in water activities. Exos - Pediatric Short Arm Fracture Brace Open Thumb - Front

The smallest of patients can benefit from Exos® technology. The ability to heat form and custom fit helps to ensure proper uniform support and comfortable fit. Exos braces are radiolucent and do not need to be removed for x-ray imaging. Provides support and protection for major injuries to the wrist.

Short Arm Fracture Brace
Provides support and protection for injuries to the wrist and forearm. Used primarily for non-displaced fractures to the distal radius or distal ulna, and can be employed for acute injuries as well as for post-operative support. Not made with natural rubber latex.

Used to stabilize fractures to the 4th and/or 5th metacarpal (MC) bones, and also provides stabilization to the 4th and 5th interphalangeal and wrist joints. May be used for metacarpal (MC) head/neck fracture of the 4th and/or 5th metacarpal. Not made with natural rubber latex.

Wrist Brace with BOA®
Intended for carpal bone injuries such as lunate, pisiform, or triquietral fractures, scapho-lunate dislocations, triangular fibro-cartilage complex (TFCC) tears, radio-carpal ligament injuries, or minimally displaced or stable distal radius or distal styloid fractures.

Long Thumb Spica II

The Long Thumb Spica II with Boa® (LTS II) provides stabilization to the thumb in adduction, metacarpalphalangeal (MCP) joint,  carpometacarpal (CMC) joints, distal radius, distal ulna and conditions where immobilization of the wrist in the sagittal and frontal plane is required.  The LTS II may be used preoperative, postoperative, post-traumatic as well as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Long Thumb Spica with Boa®

Provides primary stabilization for the first metacarpalphalangeal (MCP) joint and first carpometacarpal (CMC) joints, as well as secondary support for the radiocarpal and radioulnar wrist joints. Provides stability for injuries to the base of the thumb at the CMC joint, such as Bennett’s or Rolando’s fractures, or to stabilize a painful CMC joint.

Thumb Spica Fracture Brace

Designed to provide stabilization to the thumb, first metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joint, the first carpometacarpal (CMC) joint, wrist joint, distal radius and distal ulna. Useful for all injuries to the thumb, such as Bennett’s or complex Rolando’s fractures, suspected or confirmed navicular (scaphoid) fractures, and for other carpal bone injuries.

Exos - Radial Gutter Fracture Brace

Used to stabilize fractures to the 2nd and/or 3rd metacarpal (MC) bones and the respective metacarpal-phalangeal (MCP) joints of the hand. This pre-fabricated, custom-molded orthoses is designed to provide fit and support. The radial gutter portion of the RGFB allows the caregiver to achieve greater than 70° of flexion at the MCP joints of the 2nd and 3rd digits.

Immobilizes the base of the thumb to stabilize injuries to the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) commonly known as Gamekeeper’s thumb, fractures or avulsion injuries to the proximal first phalanx or distal first metacarpal, severe sprains of the thumb, or for arthritic conditions involving the metacarpohalangeal (MCP) joint. Not made with natural rubber latex.

Immobilizes the base of the thumb and the interphalangeal joint, to stabilize injuries to the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL), fractures or avulsion injuries to the proximal first phalanx or distal first metacarpal, severe sprains of the thumb, or for arthritic conditions involving the metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joint, or the interphalangeal (I-P joint).

Exos - Hand Based Ulnar Gutter Brace

The Hand Based Ulnar Gutter Brace is used to stabilize fractures to the 4th and/or 5th metacarpals or phalanges. This molded orthosis is designed to provide fit and support. The ulnar gutter portion of the Hand Based Ulnar Gutter Brace allows the caregiver to achieve greater than 70° of flexion at the MCP joints of the 4th and 5th digits. Not made with natural rubber latex.

The Hand Based Radial Gutter Brace is used to stabilize fractures to the 2nd and/or 3rd metacarpals or phalanges. This molded orthosis is designed to provide fit and support. The radial gutter portion of the Hand Based Radial Gutter Brace allows the caregiver to achieve greater than 70° of flexion at the MCP joints of the 2nd and 3rd digits. Not made with natural rubber latex.

Used to stabilize fractures to the mid-shaft of the humerus. The HFB may be appropriate for some injuries to the more proximal humerus. Not made with natural rubber latex.

Exos Wrist Undersleeve

The soft, microfiber material in the Exos Undersleeve enhances patient comfort and provides protection to the skin.  Designed with a slight compression and a flat seam to minimize skin irritation, the undersleeve easily fits under the Exos fracture braces.

Boa Locking Ring Kit
The Boa Locking Ring is intended to prevent unprescribed loosening of the Boa reel or removal of Exos braces.
Exos Top Loading Oven
Convenient sized oven intended to be used to heat the Exos upper and lower extremity products.
Exos Oven Head
The oven head includes the power controls and heating element. This accessory is compatible to use with any existing DJO oven dome and base.
Extension Ring
The 3” extension ring is intended to be used to heat larger brace or brace components, so the heating element does not come in contact with any portion of the product while being heated.
Thermal Wrap and Extension Ring
The Thermal Oven Extension Ring Kit is intended to be used for heating larger braces or brace components, so the heating element does not come in direct contact with any portion of the product while being heated. This kit includes one 3” extender ring and one thermal wrap as shown below. Sold as a separate accessory.
