DJO Global Completes Acquisition of Certain Assets from Zimmer and Biomet

DJO Global’s surgical division closes deal to acquire Biomet Cobalt™ Bone Cement, Optivac® Cement Mixing Accessories, SoftPac™ Pouch and Discovery® Elbow System in the U.S.

SAN DIEGO, CA, June 30, 2015 – DJO Global, Inc. (“DJO” or the “Company”), a leading global provider of medical device solutions for musculoskeletal health, vascular health and pain management, announced today that its subsidiary Encore Medical, L.P., dba DJO Surgical, has closed on the previously announced acquisition of assets from Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc., including the Biomet Cobalt™ Bone Cement, Optivac® Cement Mixing Accessories, SoftPac™ Pouch and Discovery® Elbow System for the U.S. marketplace. These new product acquisitions expand DJO Global’s product portfolio significantly as the Company continues to add new and novel technologies and fresh talent to fuel an already fast growing business.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
