When you visit the world headquarters of DJO Incorporated, one thing becomes clear: the driving force behind our daily success is our most valuable resource, our people, over 4,500 employees in our global workforce.

Located in sunny Vista, California, our 110,000 square foot main campus is home to numerous company functions, our executive offices and our custom brace manufacturing. Ideas for new and innovative products move from concept to reality here as well. Our idea factory is our Biomechanics Research Lab and New Product Development Team areas, which already have credit to over 100 patents! Here, inspiration is honed into industry innovations and continual product improvements. Using highly specialized computer software, product ideas are explored in a virtual and prototype environment.  Once they pass scrutiny, prototypes are developed

and tested. In 2005, the Product Development Management Association awarded DJO with the Outstanding Corporate Innovator Award.  

 

Award-winning innovation comes from teamwork, collaboration and using the best technology. All these elements come together in our “Kodiak” Product Development process.

In our Vista headquarters, we have a 1,500 square foot fitness center that is open 24 hours for use by all employees. The center includes free weights, universal gym equipment, bikes, stair climbers, treadmills and more.	Working together, we create many new ideas at DJO. And many of the ideas that we develop come from collaborating with active minds in the medical community. Our Clinical Education and Research Facility (CERF) located in our headquarters in Vista is open to surgeons and clinicians and enables continuing education on the latest surgical procedures.

Inside the main lobby it is easy to see that our company culture at DJO is one of continuous improvement. Our aim is to have not only our customers, but our employees, partners and community to Never Stop Getting Better.
